NO KID HUNGRY Missouri Director
Two state and three private sector employees support the work of the FACT and its network of 20 Community Partnerships.
William Dent is the Executive Director of FACT, convenes the State Deputy Directors’ group and manages the network of community partnerships. He has over 27 years of public service in state government and has worked for FACT since 1999. He holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Kenrick Theological Seminary in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Conception Seminary College in northwest Missouri.
Kathryn Wilson has served in state government for 20 years until her retirement in February 2016. She holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia and Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University. She supports the work of the Partnerships as a Community Coordinator for FACT.
Amy Lehman has worked in state government for over 16 years, working with the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Project, MC+ for Kids program, the Medical Review Team, and the Community Services Block Grant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing, Textiles and Fashion Merchandising from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She also has over 26 years of retail management experience and maintains a home-based alteration/sewing business. She functions as the FACT office manager and as administrative assistant to the FACT executive director.
Laurie Hines has over 20 years of varied experience in state government and governmental relations, program development, health policy, statewide implementations, legislative initiatives, and grant review and writing. She has a law degree from the University of Missouri, and is a graduate of Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government. Most recently, she directed a USDA funded demonstration project testing approaches to reducing children’s food insecurity during the summer months when they do not have access to subsidized school meals. Laurie serves as Missouri KIDS COUNT Coordinator.
Jonathan Barry is a passionate public servant and advocate for the people of Missouri. He started his career in state government as the Director of the Show-Me Heroes program in 2013 before accepting leadership roles in the Office of the Secretary of State in 2015. From 2001 – 2009, he lived and worked in the Netherlands, Taiwan, China, Singapore and Australia leading multinational business development, sales and marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region. His specialties include program development, program launch and leadership, startup and strategic planning, and go-to-market strategy. Jon is a Soldier in the Missouri Army National Guard, is currently completing an MBA with an emphasis in marketing, a volunteer mentor with the Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Agency and is conversational in Mandarin Chinese. He serves as the director of the Missouri NO KID HUNGRY effort.
